The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted Accountancy Board Exam 2019 today, concluded at around 1:30 p.m., the analysis of the same reveals that there was a misprint in the question paper, also the paper was lengthy.

After the exam got over, the students pointed out that one of the questions in the question paper asked to create a wrong account.

A senior teacher agreed, “The question asked students to make a realisation account, where in fact there should have been a revaluation account. We would discuss it among ourselves and write to the board about it,” said the expert.

“I was confused about the retirement question and the question had a choice. Because of this, I attempted the other choice because it was an 8 mark question. Now my friends are telling me that there was a misprint…but I have lost the marks!” Surbhi, a student, said.

Teachers informed that after they discuss the paper with fellow teachers, they will inform about the misprint to the Board and asked the students to remain calm.

  1. I expect that this should not happen again next year. Please hire well-qualified teachers as question paper setters so that in the future there will be no such confusion. Thanking you,
