The National Testing Agency has rescheduled the Joint Entrance Examination Mains II 2019 due to Lok Sabha Elections. The Exam was earlier scheduled to be conducted from April 7 to April 20, 2019. It has now rescheduled on April 7, 2019, for Paper I and Paper II is scheduled to be conducted from April 8, 9, 10 and 12, 2019.

The Admit cards for the exam will be released on March 20, 2019, at the official website, for which the link is given below:

The General Elections are scheduled to be conducted on  April 11, 18, 23 and 29 as well as on May 6, 12 and 19, 2019.

The JEE Mains online based Exam consists of Two papers, 1 for  BE/B.Tech and Paper 2 for B. Arch/B. Planning. The Drawing paper for paper 2 is scheduled to beconducted offline. The Papaer 1 involves objective type questions and paper 2 involvs mathematics and aptitude section.

The Exam will be conducted for three hours, starting from 9:30 am, and will continue to last till 12:30 am. The Afternoon exam will commence from 2:30 pm and end at 5:30 pm.

The Languages for which the exam can be appeared for is English, Hindi and Gujarati. One corrects answer rewards four marks, ad every wrong answer deducts one mark.

This year, over  8.74 lakh candidates in the January exam.
