The nation wide parents association is going to file an intervention petition against the Public interest litigation (PIL) filled in the Bombay High court which demands the offline exams of Class 10.

On thursday, A Pune based retired professor Mr. Dhananjay Kulkarni filled a PIL in the Bombay High court challenging the decision of government to cancel Class 10 Board exams and Promoting students.

According to the PIL filled by Mr. Kulkarni, the decision of not conducting exams of crucial and important class like 10th is not in favor to the students in view of academic aspects and interests. The government can wait till situations to normalise and exams can be held even in the month of August-september.

He further mentioned that if exams for class 12 are on hold then why not same is done for class 10. And if students are just passed without any exams or any fair evaluation, the validity of their certificates will be questioned later in higher studies. Thus, offline exams are a must.

The court will be having a hearing of this case on monday. The parents are totally against the claims filled in PIL. Parents do not wants to risk the lives of there children amid the deadly second wave of corona virus for sake of an examination.

Advocate Anubha Sahai, President of national parents association and an Child Activist will be filling the petition on behalf of the parents citing their reasons in front of the honourable court.

The advocate has already said that government has taken a decision after immense consideration and discussion. It must be supported as no parent would risk the lives of their young ones. Also, medical experts have warned that upcoming third wave will mostly affect childrens.
