Fox Star Studios and Raj Kumar Gupta’s upcoming collaboration movie India’s Most Wanted is set to star Arjun Kapoor as its protagonist. This news was revealed by the actor himself as he updated his Twitter account with pictures and information regarding the movie.
India’s Most Wanted is set to be released on the 24th of May, 2019, and has the tagline of “the capture of India’s most wanted, without firing a single bullet”. This movie is said to be an inspiring film about all the soldiers and heroes who have dedicated and even sacrificed their lives to protect India. Arjun Kapoor gave a statement exclaiming how much of an honor it was for him to play the lead role in such a wonderful movie. Arjun said that he was extremely inspired and moved by the plot of the film, which is a depiction of all the non-famous heroes who deserve all the songs and prayers, but end up getting neither recognition nor admiration. Arjun Kapoor has confirmed that India’s Most Wanted has an extremely patriotic theme which made him very proud to be an Indian citizen.
Arjun Kapoor also spoke of his delight on clinching this role in India’s Most Wanted on the very day his debut film Ishaqzaade debuted on the silver screen six years back. The 2012 film had brought him immense critical acclaim and also won him an award for Best Male Debut at the Filmfare Awards. According to him, the 11th of May will always hold its position as the most important day in Arjun’s life, especially after he landed this role in India’s Most Wanted on this day. Arjun Kapoor also expressed his excitement on working with Raj Kumar Gupta, who had previously produced creditable films like No One killed Jessica, and Raid, for his previous projects.
