The video features Chote Miyan who is a “good father” and is a guiding light to all the fathers who are unable to bond with their kids. These fathers are disappointed and when they have nowhere to go, they come to Daddy Cool and ask him for his guidance. Chote Miyan literally steals our heart with his first look and dialogue. The look is inspired from the movie Sarkar, starring Amitabh Bachchan and frankly, Chote Miyan looks super cool in that look.
He first listens to all the complaints that the dads had to make, including the fact that they are unsung heroes and even Bollywood doesn’t make songs for them. They feel their only responsibility is to help their kids financially and for filing their returns. When they try to make a conversation, it is cut short in the middle and questions remain unanswered. The problem is so serious that one of the fathers actually writes on the wall of his room “I QUIT”.
Chote Miyan comes to their rescue and gives them the solution, the one that can help them reconnect. While the video is an attempt to be funny, it surely makes all of us guilty because it is true that we don’t spend much time with our parents in general and fathers in particular. We feel that there isn’t much to talk and he won’t understand what we are trying to say and that is why the bare minimum effort of starting a conversation is not made.
