It is deadly and it can happen to anyone. The Coronavirus is no joke, actor Tom Hanks is a testament to this. The actor and his wife, Rita Wilson contracted the virus in Australia. They were there as Hanks was shooting his next, an untitled biopic on Elvis Presley. Baz Luhrmann’s is directing the biopic.
Though, the incident happened some months back and they have recovered since, Hanks had a terrifying experience with it. He appeared on ‘The Late Show’ with Stephen Colbert and talked about the incident. He described how, because of the virus, he felt “like his bones were made of soda crackers”.
Earlier too, in an interview with National Defense Radio Show, Hanks had talked how the virus troubled his wife, Rita more. He had said :
“Rita went through a tougher time than I did. She had a much higher fever. She had lost her sense of taste and sense of smell. She got absolutely no joy from food for a better part of three weeks.”
Meanwhile, Hanks recently saw his film ‘The Good Shepherd’ release on Apple TV+. Aaron Schneider had directed it.
