But today, during its State of the Browser session at its Ignite 2019 conference in Orlando, the developers of the browsers said that there’s a version of Edge coming to Linux.

According to them, this version will be based on Chromium. it will be known as Edge Chromium and its launch has been scheduled on January 15. This Edge Chromium will be available for windows and macOs as well.

The chromium is an open-source web browser platform that aims to build a safer and stable way to surf through. Chromium-based browsers are simple, speedy and can be customized for better usage. Google Chrome, Opera, Baidu, and some other good web browsers are based on Chromium.
