After winning the first two tests, Australia leads the third test as well.

The Ashes tour is going on in England, as Australia is in the lead after winning the first two tests.

The Aussies have performed outstandingly until now, and they will be looking for another win.

If they win the third test as well, then they will win the series as well.

Whereas the English team will be looking to make a comeback and win the test match.

Match Details

The third match was going to be played from July 6th to 10th.

The match is going to take place at Leeds Stadium.

England won the toss and elected to take the field first.

Australia Innings

The Aussies were all set to put up a big total again and take the lead.

David Warner and Usman Khawaja opened the inning for them.

Stuart Broad marked his presence again as he took the wicket of David Warner.

Broad took the wicket of Warner for the 17th time, as David hasn’t performed well against him yet.

After Broad, soon Mark Wood took the wicket of Usman Khawaja.

The English bowlers were taking frequent wickets and not letting the Australian batsmen settle down.

Mitchell Marsh, in between, stood strong and handled the situation.

Mitchell soon even completed his half-century and, from one end, kept scoring runs.

His 118 runs took Australia to a total of 263.

Mark Wood took a haul of five wickets, while Chris Woakes and Stuart Broad took three and two wickets, respectively.

England Innings

Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett opened the inning for England.

Pat Cummins, at the start, only took the wicket of Ben and then the wicket of Harry.

The Aussies were giving frequent breakthroughs to the English team.

Ben, in between, started to handle the situation by scoring important runs.

He soon completed his half-century and held the strike from one side.

The captain’s knock by Ben of 80 runs took England to a total of 237 runs.

Pat Cummins broke the batting line-up of England as he took six wickets.

By the end of the first inning, Australia had taken the lead by 26 runs.
