The registration of Delhi University commenced from May 30th this year. The registrations delayed due to the non-confirmation of the entrance exam conducting agency.

Since, NTA (National Testing Agency) have been authorised for conducting the DU exam, the dates of the entrance exam of DU this year have also been released. The entrance exams are going to be held from June 30th-July 6th, 2019.

The exam will be held for the various programmes- Undergraduate, Post-Graduate, M.Phil and PhD. Though, the individual dates have not been released yet but it is going to be released soon today.

DU (Delhi University) conducts these entrance examinations for the admission in its campus. There are 11 undergraduate courses for, which the examination is conducted.

The official notification released on the website portal of DU states, “This is to notify to all the applicants seeking admissions to various undergraduate (UG) courses for the academic session 2019-20 at the University of Delhi that the registration portal neither calculate any marks for the ‘Best Four’ subjects nor for any other purpose.”

The registration process for undergraduate courses started from May 30th and for Post-Graduate, M.Phil and PhD courses started from June 3rd. The last date to fill the registration form is 14th June, 2019.

Documents required for registration

  • Photocopies of all the documents (check the detailed list on DU website)
  • On the photocopy of each document, the applicant must sign and write ‘self-attested’
  • Scan all these self-attested copies and keep them saved on the device (laptop or mobile device) on, which you will carry out the online registration. You will need all these scanned, self-attested copies handy to upload them to complete the online registration.

This year the for the first time NTA will be conducting the entrance examination of DU, apart from it the agency is also conducting the JNUEE (Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam). The total registrations filed this year are 2,46,372.

The Delhi University is also conducting an Open Day Session for the students and parents to let them be clear about the admission process and other information related to the university. This session has been commenced from May 30th and will get over on June 10th. The next session is on June 8th now.
