National Testing Agency grants offline application facility to Kashmiri Students for NEET (UG) 2020

The Kashmiri students suffered a lot during the scrapping of Section 370, resulting in total lockdown in the state of Jammu and Kashmir with no internet and cellular connection.  Keeping that in mind, National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the offline application facility of NEET (National Entrance cum Eligibility Exam) Undergraduate 2020 for the Kashmir Students from 10th December to 1st January 2019.

NEET UG 2020, is a national level medical entrance examination that happens twice in a year. The last date for filling NEET-UG 2020 application form is December 31, 2019. Although, the offline form facility is available only to the Kashmiri aspirants.

The NEET-UG 2020 edit window will be available from 15 to 31 January 2020 for students who want to edit personal information like date of Birth, Gender, Category of the Candidate, Physical Disability Status and EWS Status.

The Admit Card of NEET UG 2020 will be issued from 27th March 2020. The NEET-UG 2020 exam will be held on May 3, 2020.

Meanwhile, the NEET PG 2020 Edit window was closed on December 7th, 2019.

In August 2019, the special status granted to the state of Jammu and Kasmir was scrapped with many perks and benefits. In September 2019, it was constituted into a Union Territory.
